Title Tag: Well-constructed title tags contain the main keyword for the page, followed by a brief description of the page content.

- Unique page titles for each page.
- No more than 5-10 words.

Description Tags: Good description tags contain information about the page's content and persuade search engine users to visit your web site.

- Meta description tags are meant to be compelling and include keywords and phrases for that page (This is what visitors see in the search results).
- Meta description tags are 20 to 30 words, starting with several strategic keywords and apply to specific pages.

Content & Structure: Pages should have descriptive content that contains the keywords specified in the keywords meta tag for the page.

- keywords are used near the top of each page, within the first couple of paragraphs, or headings.
- Add an ALT tag for each graphical image on your site.
- No frames or intros and/or limited use of flash on site.
- Create an XML sitemap file for Google, BING, and Yahoo.
- 300 – 700 words per page.
- Utilize the Robots Meta Tag and Robots.txt to guide the engines.

Link Building:

- A minimum of 3 links to your site from other RELEVANT websites (links from web pages that are read by your target audience and have title and description tags that reflect their relevance).

Jadi penggunaan file flash seharusnya:

1. Gunakan Flash jika anda memang membutuhkannya, bahkan Youtube, media yang banyak menggunakan flash, lebih memilih menggunakan HTMl untuk content dan navigasinya daripada flash.
2. Jika anda menggunakan Flash sebagai navigasi, maka sebaiknya anda menambahkan link versi HTML nya pada footer halaman web anda atau membuat halaman sitemap HTML seperti sitemap1, sitemap2, sitemap3 , ini berguna untuk menyalurkan Googlebot ke halaman lain website anda.

Jadi kesimpulannya, sebaiknya kita mengetahui bagaimana peggunaan file flash atau image dengan baik dalam hubungannya dengan faktor onpage optimization website kita.

Setting Gmail di Outlook Express

Lanjutan dari artikel sebelumnya mengenai Gmail mendukung IMAP atau POP.
Artikel ini sebenarnya saya sadur dari artikelnya mas Muhadkly (Acho) tapi saya tambahkan sedikit, karena ketika saya coba ikutin artikelnya mas "Acho" ternyata masih gak bisa juga "Tarik"email yang di Gmail melalui Outlook Express.
Anda pasti pernah dengar tentang Outlook Express, sebuah program email client dari Microsoft yang sangat terkenal khususnya di dunia perkantoran. Jika anda bekerja di sebuah perusahaan, hampir dapat dipastikan anda akan bergaul dengan software satu ini. Memang enak menggunakan Outlook Express untuk menerima dan mengirim email di rumah atau di kantor. Hanya saja kita perlu mengetahui konfigurasi POP server dan SMTP server dari email server yang kita gunakan, agar bisa kita set di Outlook nantinya. Kalau untuk email-email ‘kantor’ yang mempunyai domain sendiri misalnya: emailku@namaperusahaan.com , tentunya sudah bukan masalah lagi, karena sudah tersedia informasi seputar POP server, SMTP Server yang bisa digunakan untuk melakukan setting di Outlook.

Ada 2 step yg perlu di lakukan:
Step 1
* Buka Gmail anda
* Aktifkan IMAP anda di opsi Acuan Email/pengaturan kemudian pilih "Meneruskan dari IMAP/POP" (lihat gambar)

Step 2
* Buka Outlook Express
* Tambahkan Account baru di Outlook, dari Menu Tools + Account kemudian pilih Add +mail

*Isikan Nama Anda

* Alamat Email yang terdaftar di Gmail

* Isi Incoming mail… dengan : pop.gmail.com dan Outgoing mail… dengan : smtp.gmail.com

* Isi account name dan password yang terdaftar di Gmail

* Next terus sampe finish

Setelah selesai buka kembali Account anda dari menu Tools + Account, kemudian klik "Properties"
* Pada tabulasi Server, beri tanda "My server requires Authentication" hal ini dilakukan agar anda dapat mengirim email dengan menggunakan Account Gmail dari Outlook Express.


Kemudian pada tabulasi Advanced.
* Isi kolom Outgoing…(SMTP) = 465 dan checklist “This server…(SSL)”
* Isi kolom Incoming…(POP3) = 995 dan checklist “This server…(SSL)”

Mencegah Google Hacks pada Situs

Google Hacks merupakan aplikasi open source yang dapat digunakan sebagai alat bantu dalam pencarian melalui Google. Program tersebut bisa digunakan dalam pencarian berbagai informasi, musik, ebook, video, product key, font sebagai contohnya. Dengan memasukkan kata kunci dan klik opsi-opsi yang disediakan, maka Google Hacks akan merangkaikan kata kunci dengan operator pencariannya dan menampilkan halaman hasil Google melalui browser. Jika kita beruntung, kita akan mendapatkan apa yang di inginkan.

Bagaimana kalau sebaliknya? Seandainya saja kita yang memiliki situsnya. Adakalanya sesuatu data yang dimiliki dan disimpan didalamnya, sifatnya tidak untuk disebarluaskan ke sembarang orang. Nah, untuk mencegah atau mengantisipasi serangan Google hack pada situs yang di miliki, ada beberapa hal yang harus diperhatikan tentunya, diantaranya:

* Jika dimungkinkan, jangan memasukkan informasi yang sifatnya penting dan sensitif ke internet.
* Hati-hati dalam menulis script dan mengakses database.
* Gunakan file robot.txt untuk mengijinkan Google dalam mengetahui bagian dari website yang siap diindex.
* Pastikan direktori berada pada web server sesuai dengan yang diinginkan.
* Pantau terus situs dari kesalahan umum yang mungkin terjadi. Kita dapat memantau dengan menggunakan salah satu software, misalnya Pingdom atau situs lain yang menyediakan layanan pemantauan di mana layanan ini akan mengecek teks yang seharusnya tidak ada di dalam halaman. Sebagai contoh bagian dari script php yang mengandung pesan kesalahan.
